Most clients do. We set up dust containment at the work area, protect the flooring on the path in and out, and can help you rig a temporary kitchen with a fridge, microwave, and sink elsewhere in the house.

The loudest phases are demolition and any concrete or structural work, which are usually confined to the first week. If you have a newborn, work from home on calls, or have a family member with health sensitivities, tell us early and we will sequence the noisy work into a block you can plan around.

Pricing depends far more on scope than on square footage. A quality cosmetic refresh using stock cabinetry in the existing layout generally starts in the mid five figures. A full gut with custom millwork, stone surfaces, a structural opening, and relocated services typically lands in the six figure range.

We do not quote from a photo. After a site visit and a conversation about how you use the space, you get an itemized estimate that separates construction, cabinetry, surfaces, appliances, and allowances so you can see exactly where the money goes and adjust before we start.

Either works. Many clients prefer to buy their own appliances to take advantage of seasonal pricing, and we are happy to work that way as long as we have the specification sheets early.

What matters is that we know the exact models before cabinetry is ordered, because panel-ready fridges, slide-in ranges, and integrated dishwashers all have different rough opening and clearance requirements. A late appliance change after cabinets are built is one of the most expensive avoidable mistakes in a kitchen project.
